DESCRIPTION:(im)prévu | (un)foreseen\nConstructions between System and Divergence\n\nCharles Bézie | Daniel Buren | Jean-François Dubreuil | Vera Molnar | François Morellet | Aurélie Nemours | Yves Popet | Victor Vasarely\n\nThe exhibition showcases French artists from the heart of the Schroth Collection and explores the possibilities of artistic conception. From clearly defined formal elements and systematic structures to free experimentation and chance\, these artists use methods that range from a planned approach to openness towards the unforeseen\, enabling discoveries that are more than just the result of a search.\n\nThey have given their work a framework of consistent rules of formal conception or have declared systems themselves to be the subject of their work. Subjective\, intuitive composition is replaced by construction based on simple or elaborate systems. They systematically explore the visual consequences of repetition\, progression\, rotation or superposition\, for example. In their methodical approach\, however\, some of them also welcome deviation and chance. François Morellet\, for example\, integrated chance as a principle in order to override the idea of artistic composition itself and at the same time create new and autonomous elements of reality that had not even existed in his imagination before. DESCRIPTION:Die unerwartete Begegnung mit der Kunst – Aktion von und mit Christoph Aßmann \nim Rahmen der Ausstellung\n(im)prévu | (un)vorhergesehen. Konstruktionen zwischen System und Abweichung \nZwischen Kettenkarussellfahrt und Rosenschießen eine kurze Begegnung mit der Kunst? Kabarettist und Museumspädagoge Christoph Aßmann spricht am Kirmessamstag zwischen 14 und 16 Uhr Rummelfans von nah und fern zwischen Museum Wilhelm Morgner mit RAUM SCHROTH und Petrikirchhof an und lädt sie zu einer kurzen Runde Kunst ein: Wer neugierig ist\, kann dem Museum einen 10-minütigen Besuch abstatten und einem besonderen Werk von François Morellet oder Wilhelm Morgner begegnen – um sich danach wieder erfrischt ins Getümmel zu stürzen. \nAls Moderator dieses “Speed-Datings mit der Kunst” geleitet Christoph Aßmann die interessierten und neugierigen Passanten ins Museum\, wo sie vom Team empfangen werden\, um ein besonderes Werk kennenzulernen – spontane Assoziationen\, emotionale Reaktionen\, sinnliche Freude und faktisches Wissen inklusive\, Leidenschaft nicht ausgeschlossen!   \nIn dieses „Speed-Dating“ mit der Kunst reiht sich um 15 Uhr das „11 Minuten Date“ ein: Gedichte von Eugen Gomringer (1925-2025) treffen auf Werke der Ausstellung (im)prévu von François Morellet\, Vera Molnar oder Victor Vasarely. Christoph Aßmann spekuliert in dieser unerwarteten Begegnung mit Humor\, Provokation und Kunst über den Verlauf einer fiktiven Begegnung und lässt Gomringer durch einige seiner Gedichte in der Ausstellung zu Wort kommen.
