LIGHT FIELD
\nAnne Blanchet + James Howell<\/strong><\/p>\n

Space, light and the limits of visibility are common interests and characteristics of the works of these two artists, that also share a long-standing personal friendship.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Anne Blanchet\u2019s translucent colourless acrylic glass pieces, capture, guide, reflect and rendered light resulting in the emergence of descriptive shadow\u2019s, which suggest a three-dimensionality.<\/p>\n

James Howells acrylic paintings on canvas confront the viewer with subtle grey gradations that imply a shifting light-plane, leaving the viewer to consider: Illusion or Reality?<\/p>\n
