My sculptural research often focuses on time as a decisive agent.
I experiment with the „nearness“ of diverse material rendering imminent the action of time by a record on matter and space, experiencing the abstraction that results from this relationship.
The starting point of this investigative process varies and is combined to a reflexive attempt to create a methodology of looking. Works like o lugar do ar, dealing with a transformative process over time, eventually causes reflections in another comprehension of time as a fundamental “material” of the work.
