The Remainder series (2016–) uses the sphere – an emblem of ideal geometry – as a site of disruption. Industrial detritus and native plants rupture its form, creating tension between purity and organic growth. Eroded surfaces expose microhabitats, linking decay with regeneration. These works propose an ecology of sculpture, where entropy, time, and the merger of natural and built systems unfold materially.
